ESD Cleanroom swivel chair Basic Plus 2 with synchronous technology
The ESD cleanroom swivel chair Plus 2 from bimos combines advanced synchronous technology with special features for use in cleanrooms. This chair is ideal for environments that require high particle safety, as it has a seat and back shell made of sheet steel, which provides optimal particle control. The metal parts are conductively coated and the plastic parts are volume conductive to meet safety standards.The cover made of slip-resistant synthetic leather and the color scheme in light gray with black accents offer not only functional advantages but also an appealing look. The chair is designed without armrests, allowing additional freedom of movement. The seat height can be adjusted from 66 to 91 cm, facilitated by a side lever.
Furthermore, the chair meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and DIN 68877, is GS-certified, and complies with cleanliness classes 1 according to US Fed. Std. 209E and 3 according to EN ISO 14644-1. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg. The wheel configuration includes conductive gliders, ensuring safe use in sensitive areas.

The suitability of the CLEANROOM BASIC swivel chair is proven by its certified cleanroom qualification. Its sophisticated concept bears the internationally renowned “Tested Device” test mark of the Fraunhofer Institute and meets all requirements for high particle safety. The CLEANROOM BASIC swivel chair is suitable for use in air cleanliness class 3 in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14644-1, air cleanliness class 1 in accordance with US Fed Standards 209E and the EU GMP guideline. It also provides reliable protection against electrostatic charge in accordance with EN 61340-5-1.
ESD Cleanroom Basic is characterized by outstanding properties for reliable ESD protection and can reliably and safely dissipate personal charges to the conductive floor covering or floor mat. ESD Cleanroom Basic meets the requirements of DIN EN 61340-5-1 and ANSI/ESD S20.20-2021 for use in EPAs. Available with dissipative back shell.
The Basic cleanroom swivel chair in two versions
With the Basic cleanroom swivel chair, you can enjoy all the benefits of Bimos at both high and low positions. The different versions have everything that chairs at different workstations need.
The PLUS version also has a conductive backrest shell and therefore offers even more protection in sensitive ESD areas.

Soft, hygienic - synthetic leather
Synthetic leather is the upholstery recommendation for cleanrooms - disinfectant-resistant, soft and ESD-compliant. Bimos synthetic leather is PVC-free and contains no plasticizers that are released by UV light or disinfectants. It therefore remains soft for years and no cracks appear on the surface. It is also free from harmful phthalates, making it safe for employees and the environment. The material is fire tested in accordance with DIN EN 1021-1&2 and is ideal for cleanrooms with flammable chemicals. The synthetic leather also bears the Oeko-Tex label for special environmental friendliness and sustainability - something we are proud of.
Disinfectant-resistant - Bimos is disinfectant-resistant and resistant to all commercially available disinfectants. It has also been awarded the OETIS certificate.
Easy to clean - The synthetic leather is particularly easy to clean and can be washed off quickly; all cleaning instructions can be followed without hesitation.
Comfortable - The softness and non-slip properties of the synthetic leather ensure a comfortable and pleasant sitting experience.
