PE foam, dissipative 540x355x3 mm

The PE foam presented here is characterized by its electrostatic discharge ability and meets the standard DIN EN 61340-5-1, making it ideal for use in ESD-protected areas. This product is available in dimensions of 540 mm length, 355 mm width, and a thickness of 3 mm. It is specifically designed for use in KLT containers of size 600x400 mm.
The foam is made of high-quality polyethylene, has a material density of 46 kg/cm³, and withstands operating temperatures up to 90 °C. The surface of the foam has a resistance ranging from 10^5 to 10^7 Ohm depending on the side, with the skinned side offering a resistance of 10^5 to 10^6 Ohm and the non-skinned side providing a resistance of 10^7 to 10^8 Ohm.
Thanks to its closed-cell, cross-linked structure, the foam is corrosion-free and abrasion-resistant. The black color ensures discreet integration into various environments. This PE foam is excellent as an insert foam, interlayer, or partition wall for containers, as well as a workstation pad, making it highly versatile.

PE foam interlayers, dissipative

These PE foam interlayers are electrostatically dissipative. They are covered with a thin layer (skin) on one side. The PE foams are also suitable for use as plug-in foam, workstation underlays and partition walls for containers.

The PE foam interlayers are characterized by the following properties:

  • cross-linked
  • closed-cell
  • corrosion-free
  • abrasion-resistant
  • black
  • typical surface resistance: 105 - 106 Ohm (side with skin)
  • typical surface resistance: 107 - 108 Ohm (side without skin)
  • in compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1

The interlayers are available in predefined dimensions or as individual cuttings.
