The safety boot AL Hit 4 XL+ S3 HRO ESD, manufactured by Sievi, is an optimal solution for demanding work environments. This unisex boot, available in sizes 39 to 48, combines safety with comfort and functionality. The upper material is made of PU-coated leather, which is not only durable but also abrasion-resistant. The sole made of PU/RU material withstands temperatures up to 300°C and offers excellent stability on various surfaces thanks to its slip resistance (SRC).
The safety features include an aluminum toe cap and a steel puncture-resistant plate, both meeting the EN ISO 20345 S3 SRC HRO standards. For additional comfort, the boot features a 3D-dry lining that ensures a comfortable fit, as well as a replaceable dual insole that allows for the use of orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191.
The boot has a standard width of 11.5 / XL and weighs 705 g in size 42. The non-marking outsole leaves no traces, and the lace-up closure allows for individual adjustment. The AL Hit 4 XL+ S3 HRO ESD is therefore a safe and durable choice for professional users who have the highest demands on their work equipment.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole steel
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Steel midsoles are not affected by the shape of sharp objects or hazards. However, they only cover 85% of the tread surface. They are often used in the construction industry.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.

3D-dry lining
Das von Sievi entwickelte 3D-dry-Futter leitet die Fußfeuchtigkeit vom Fuß zur zweiten und damit äußeren Schicht des Futtermaterials und weiter durch das Obermaterial aus dem Schuh ab.
FlexStep®
The FlexStep® outsole with micropores developed by Sievi preserves its excellent shock absorption and elasticity even in frosty conditions. The springy construction of the FlexStep® sole element protects the foot and spine from impact and excessive stress. All Sievi shoes have a FlexStep® sole.
