Safety sandal TRAX ESD black
The Trax ESD safety sandal from ABEBA is specifically designed for use in cleanroom environments of classes 4 to 9 and complies with the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345:2011. This unisex safety shoe in black offers a high protection standard of class S3. The surface is made of robust smooth leather, while the lining is made of technical fabric, ensuring comfort and breathability.
The sandal is available in sizes 35 to 51 and features a lightweight composite toe cap and a metal-free puncture-resistant layer. The double-layer PU/PU outsole ensures excellent slip resistance (SRC) and is thus safe on various surfaces. ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
