Safety shoe Blink ESD
The Blink ESD safety shoe from U-Power, part of the RED LION series, combines high safety standards with modern design and comfort for daily use. This low shoe is available in sizes 35-48 and in white, making it a versatile choice for both men and women.
The shoes are equipped with a perforated aluminum toe cap and a metal-free penetration-resistant composite material, certifying them according to EN ISO 20345, S3, and SRC standards. The upper is made from the durable Putek® PLUS, while the breathable WingTex lining ensures an optimal foot climate. The insole is equipped with an Infinergy® core from BASF, which provides additional energy with each step and reduces the weight to just 489 g for size 42.
The PU/PU outsole not only offers slip resistance but is also oil-resistant and antistatic. Additional safety features such as the lace-up closure type and the standard width 11 complement the profile of this high-quality safety shoe. ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
BASF Infinergy®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. Infinergy® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience. Infinergy® also has a permanent load-bearing capacity in a wide temperature range (-20 to over +40°C).
Toe cap Airtoe Composite
The revolutionary safety cap that allows the foot to breathe thanks to its innovative AirToe technology. AirToe is the answer to the need for breathability in safety footwear. It weighs approx. 60 g and is made of 200 joules of composite material.
Save and Flex plus
The exclusive puncture-resistant "no metal" insole is lighter than traditional steel, more flexible and safer. It is connected directly to the shaft and guarantees 100% penetration resistance.
U-POWER uses only the high-quality, puncture-resistant "Save & Flex" PLUS insole for all of its own products, the pressure load of which is far higher than required by the current standard.
