The PGT 120 Personnel Test Station is used to verify personal grounding resistances for wrist straps and footwear grounding and is ideal for use in electrostatic protected areas. The device offers a flexible power supply, which can be operated either through an integrated 9V battery or a 230V AC adapter. The test voltages can be adjusted variably (30 V, 50 V, 100 V), allowing for adaptation to specific safety requirements.
The PGT 120 enables simultaneous and separate measurement of the right and left shoe as well as the testing of wrist strap grounding. The results are indicated both visually and acoustically, and there is the possibility to control access systems such as door openers or turnstiles via a potential-free relay contact. This testing device can be used as both a desktop and a wall-mounted device, with an optional bracket needed for wall mounting.
With dimensions of 200 mm in length, 150 mm in width, and 65 mm in height, the device is compact and also suitable for mobile use. The operating and storage temperatures range between 15 - 40 °C and -10 - 60 °C, with a recommended humidity of 75 - 85%. The recommended calibration interval is 24 months. Included in the delivery are the testing device, a footwear electrode, a factory calibration certificate, an instruction manual in German and English, a 9V battery, and an AC power adapter.
