Ionizing bars

Ionizing bars are elongated ionizing systems for the targeted neutralization of electrostatic charges on surfaces or in the ambient air. They are used where direct earthing is not possible or not sufficiently effective - especially with non-conductive materials or moving processes.

The devices generate positive and negative ions using high-voltage electrodes, which actively compensate for charge imbalances on surfaces. Thanks to their design, they can be integrated into machines, conveyor systems or along production lines to save space.

Ionizing bars are typically used in electrostatically sensitive applications - for example in electronics production, packaging technology or plastics processing. Regular checking of the ionization performance and ion balance is required to ensure effective ESD control in accordance with IEC 61340-5-1.
