**Hexagon Switch Blade slimBit 2831 VDE 2.0**
To reach deep-set screws, the blade diameter of conventional electrician's screwdrivers is often too large. Removing the insulation is not allowed and also endangers personal safety. With the Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY, specifically developed for electrical applications, the protective insulation has been integrated into the blade to allow for blades that are up to 33% slimmer. This way, the slimBits can easily access deep-set screws and spring elements. The insulated slimBits are tested piece by piece according to the international standard IEC 60900 and enable safe working in areas with live parts up to 1,000 V AC. 6 mm slimBits should only be used in the slimVario® bit holder and slimTorque VDE bit holder (VDE torque system).
