The advantages of Lynx EVO:
- Unique 3D imaging (stereo) - the user can look around the subject from a 34° angle (improved 3D view/depth perception)
- a natural view of the subject - ambient light falls into the eyes, as the user may sit back from the eyepiece
- suitable for eyeglasses - due to the eyepiece-less optics users do not need to remove their glasses (or safety glasses)
- protection against cross-infection and sample contamination - as there is no direct contact between user and eyepiece/front lens
- ergonomic working position - much more comfortable an less fatiguing working
- freedom of head movement - providing the user radial and axial freedom of head movement when working
