The LYNX EVO stereo microscope, equipped with a 1.5x multiplier optics, extends the magnification and stereo zoom range by a factor of 1.5, without affecting the working distance. A convenient toggle switch allows for easy swinging in and out of the multiplier optics. This accessory is ideal for applications requiring higher detail accuracy and offers an ergonomic workflow without direct contact with the eyepiece or front lens, thereby minimizing the risk of infection and sample contamination.

The advantages of Lynx EVO:
- Unique 3D imaging (stereo) - the user can look around the subject from a 34° angle (improved 3D view/depth perception)
- a natural view of the subject - ambient light falls into the eyes, as the user may sit back from the eyepiece
- suitable for eyeglasses - due to the eyepiece-less optics users do not need to remove their glasses (or safety glasses)
- protection against cross-infection and sample contamination - as there is no direct contact between user and eyepiece/front lens
