The Knipex 7861125 ESD side cutter is a precision plier specifically designed for the finest cutting tasks in electronics and precision mechanics. This model is characterized by its electrically discharging, dissipative handles, which provide standard-compliant ESD protection and thus prevent uncontrolled electrostatic discharges. The cutting edges are ground without a bevel, are very sharp, and additionally inductively hardened to approximately 62 HRC, which allows for a long service life and ultra-precise cutting of even the thinnest wires.The precisely shaped tips of the side cutter enable precise cutting of adjacent wires from Ø 0.2 mm. The stainless steel rivet in the joint and the extremely smooth operation of the pliers allow for fatigue-free working. Additionally, the opening spring and the opening limit make the work process easier. With an overall length of 125 mm and a weight of only 56 g, this plier is particularly handy.
The plier is made of burnished special tool steel and has a head shape that is extra small and angled, ideal for precise applications in confined working environments. Extremely sharp cutting edgesThe Knipex Electronic Super Knips are made of surgical steel (INOX steel). The cutting edges are ground without a bevel for flush cutting. The burnished versions are made of tool steel.
