The KNIPEX Universal Tweezers 922870 are specifically designed for use in the electronics and precision engineering industries, supporting safe handling of electronic components. These tweezers allow for controlled equalization of potential differences between the operator and the component through their ESD-tested, black epoxy coating, which has a surface resistance between 10^3 and 10^9 Ohm. The tweezers are made from high-quality chrome-nickel stainless steel, offering high toughness and excellent corrosion resistance. Additionally, the tool is anti-magnetic to prevent electromagnetic damage.
The Universal Tweezers are available in various models that differ in the shape of the tips (straight, angled, needle-point, pointed, or blunt) and the nature of the gripping and handling surfaces (smooth or serrated). The tweezers have a length of 110 mm, a tip width of 0.25 mm, and a thickness of 0.20 mm. The weight is 14 g. The matte finish and the ESD coating enhance functionality when working with sensitive electronic components.
