WX 2 supply unit

The WX 2 power unit from Weller is a state-of-the-art soldering station featuring two independent channels and automatic tool recognition for WX tools. This station allows intuitive operation thanks to the rotary click wheel with finger guide and a graphical LC display with backlight. The soldering station offers high functionality without the need for Stop&Go holders, as it includes an integrated usage sensor that activates the tools only when moved.
The WX soldering irons quickly reach operating temperature and are ready for immediate use. The temperature can be adjusted from 100 °C to 550 °C, with accuracy and stability ensured by digital sensor evaluation in the soldering iron. The casing is made of an aluminum base with an antistatic black coating and an antistatic plastic housing, making the station ideal for ESD-safe work environments.
Technical specifications include dimensions of 174 x 154 x 135 mm, a weight of about 3.45 kg, a mains voltage of 230 V, 50 Hz, and a power consumption of 200 W (255 W). The potential equalization is done through a 3.5 mm switching jack socket on the back of the device. The station is delivered including a power cable and software CD.
