The WX 2010 MICRO MS Soldering Station by Weller is an advanced solution for precise soldering tasks, specifically designed for use in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and medical technology. This model meets MIL-SPEC / IPC standards and offers protection against electrical overload through its RT MS soldering tips and active heating technology.
The station features a WX2 power unit with two channels that enables simultaneous operation of soldering irons and desoldering tweezers. Safety features such as temperature lock and tool-specific settings enhance operational safety, while integrated USB ports facilitate the connection of additional devices such as solder fume extraction systems.
The WX 2010 MICRO MS is characterized by an extremely fast heating time of only 5 seconds and is suitable for component sizes M to L. The station comes with the micro soldering iron WXMP MS, a suitable soldering tip, and the safety rest WSR 200. Other features include ESD safety, automatic tool recognition, and digital operation, which allows precise temperature control from 100 to 550 °C.

WX 2 MS Soldering station sets

Weller WX soldering station sets with the WX2 2-channel supply unit offer high-quality solutions for professional soldering work in demanding areas such as the automotive, aerospace and medical technology industries. They have been specially developed in accordance with MIL-SPEC / IPC standards to protect sensitive components from electrical overload using RT MS soldering tips and active heating element technology. In addition to the supply unit, the 3 sets include different soldering irons for different applications as well as matching soldering tips and safety rests.

Set WX 2010: WXMP MS micro soldering iron, RTM 013 S MS soldering tip, WSR 200 safety rest
Set WX 2011: WXPP MS pico soldering iron, RTP 004 S MS soldering tip, WSR 208 safety rest, precision tweezers and solder wire

MS soldering stations are MIL-SPEC-compliant, i.e. they are used in accordance with MIL-STD-2000. In contrast to conventional soldering stations, they have additional insulation to earth, which prevents interference frequencies. MS soldering stations are not compatible with conventional soldering irons and soldering tips, but must always be used with MS soldering irons or soldering tips.
