JBC Compact Line soldering station
JBC technology - The most efficient soldering system
JBC soldering stations work with the exclusive JBC heating system, whereby the temperature at the tip is reached extremely quickly. This increases work efficiency and allows the user to work at lower temperatures.
The intelligent thermal management
Thanks to the automatic detection of the tool in the tool holder, the tools of the JBC soldering and rework stations can be put into standby and sleep mode when not in use. As a result, the tip lasts up to 5 times longer.
Standby mode
The standby mode automatically lowers the tip temperature below the melting point temperature of the solder when the tool is in the stand. It prevents the iron coating of the tip from dissolving in molten solder.
Sleep mode
After a configurable period of inactivity of the tool in the stand, the system switches to sleep mode. The power supply is interrupted so that the tip reaches room temperature, preventing oxidation and saving energy.
Longer tip life
Tip life increases exponentially when lower temperatures are used. In sleep mode, the temperature is further reduced, which extends the tip life by a factor of five.

Exclusive system - replace soldering tip efficiently
Increase efficiency by using the Quick Cartridge Exchanger, which is available in all stands and compact stations. The JBC system requires no additional tools such as a screwdriver to change the tip shape. Without switching off the station, you can perform various soldering operations in just a few seconds.
Tip cleaning system
The stations in the Compact product line have a tip cleaner with a splash protection membrane to prevent solder particles from splashing away and to keep the work area clean. The comprehensive cleaning system offers a choice of 3 safe methods: Wiper, sponge, brass wool or wire brush. You can also use the integrated scraper to remove excess solder from the tip.
Wiper
Remove excess solder by tapping and wiping. The wiper is made of soft, high-temperature conductive silicone.
Sponge
The gentlest cleaning method for removing excess solder during soldering and rework work. It enables you to keep tips continuously clean and reduce their wear.
Brass wool
Very effective cleaning method. Leaves a thin layer of solder on the tip and thus prevents oxidation between cleaning and re-wetting.
Metal brush
For more thorough cleaning of soldering tips, tweezers and desoldering irons. The metal bristles ensure intensive cleaning, particularly recommended when tip restoration is required.
Further features of the JBC stations
Working position
The JBC stations can be adapted to the user's working position. Tool holders and cable holders are easily adjustable.
Communication Station-PC
Thanks to the built-in USB port in all stations and control units, you can control your tasks remotely from a PC. The most innovative technology to control your work beyond the station.
Process screen
The user-friendly menu allows you to set over 20 parameters individually. Set temperature limit values, query operating hours counters, lock the station with a PIN or program standby and idle modes
Details make the difference
So easy to use that you don't need a manual
The work display provides useful information on the tool status in real time. You can set up temperature levels, configure maximum and minimum temperatures, set delay and temperature for idle and sleep mode, activate or deactivate QST and much more.
Replace soldering tips quickly and safely
Each soldering tip changer has been specially developed for the respective tool. You do not have to switch off the station to change tips and can therefore use different tip geometries quickly and safely..
Track, update and connect
The USB port allows you to manage your work remotely from your PC. Thanks to the latest technology, you can also do your work away from the station. You can connect your station to a fume cupboard, download data, update the software and ensure the traceability of the stationsn.
More than just a tool holder
The stations have a hibernation and a sleep mode that lowers the tip temperature when the tool is placed in the tool holder. As a result, JBC tips last up to five times longer than tips from other brands..
