The WT MS soldering irons from Weller with 40 W are ideal for applications that require a high degree of safety and precision, particularly in electronics production, aerospace technology and military technology. They are designed for various soldering tasks, especially for miniature work under the microscope. MS soldering irons are MIL-SPEC-compliant, i.e. they are used in accordance with MIL-STD-2000. In contrast to conventional soldering irons, they have additional insulation to earth, which prevents interference frequencies. MS soldering irons are not compatible with conventional soldering tips, but must always be used with MS soldering tips.
