Acrylic protective coating spray can
The AFA Acrylic Conformal Coating from Electrolube is an optically clear coating specifically developed for LEDs and other industrial applications. It is distinguished by its ability to remain optically clear even after prolonged UV exposure and causes only minimal shift in the color temperature of the coated LEDs. This makes it an ideal choice for the conformal coating of LEDs. Additionally, it provides excellent protection in humid environments and remains flexible over a wide operating temperature range.
AFA is free from aromatic solvents such as toluene and xylene and offers excellent adhesion on a variety of materials. The formulation includes a UV tracer for easy inspection of the circuit board to check whether the coating has been applied completely and evenly or has been removed by a solvent. The coating is available in a convenient 200 ml spray can and has a shelf life of 2 years with proper storage.
It meets key industry standards, including UL746-QMJU2, UL94 V-0, IPC-CC-830, MIL-1-46058C, and is RoHS compliant according to 2011/65/EU. This confirms its suitability for demanding industrial applications and environmental standards.
