The DCR protective coating SCC3 from Electrolube is specifically developed for the high demands of the defense industry in Europe and the USA. This product is distinguished by its outstanding chemical resistance and flexibility, making it ideal for use in the aerospace and automotive industries.
The coating, based on modified alkyd resin, is available in a 5-liter canister and offers a shelf life of up to 4 years with proper storage. The red, opaque color of the coating is designed to conceal the design of the circuit boards, while the included UV trace allows for easy inspection of the coating thickness under UV light.
DCR protective coating can be applied by spraying, dipping, or brushing and is extremely resistant to chemicals and solvents after thermal curing. Additionally, it meets the standards UL746C-QMJU2, DEF-STAN 59/47 (Issue 4), IPC-CC-830, and is RoHS-compliant, underscoring its suitability for demanding applications.
