PE foam, dissipative 553x353x10 mm

The PE foam offered here measures 553 mm in length, 353 mm in width, and 10 mm in thickness. This electrostatically conductive material made of polyethylene is ideal for applications where precise compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1 is critical. With a material density of 46 kg/cm³ and a maximum operating temperature of 90 °C, the foam is characterized by its robustness and durability. The surface of the foam offers a typical resistance of 10^5 to 10^7 Ohm, with the skin side having a resistance of 10^5 to 10^6 Ohm and the non-skin side from 10^7 to 10^8 Ohm. The black color and the closed-cell, corrosion-free, and abrasion-resistant structure make it an excellent choice for applications such as plug-in foam, interlayers, and partition walls for containers, as well as workplace mats. This versatile and technically superior foam reliably meets the requirements of technical purchasers in various industrial applications.

PE foam interlayers, dissipative

These PE foam interlayers are electrostatically dissipative. They are covered with a thin layer (skin) on one side. The PE foams are also suitable for use as plug-in foam, workstation underlays and partition walls for containers.

The PE foam interlayers are characterized by the following properties:

  • cross-linked
  • closed-cell
  • corrosion-free
  • abrasion-resistant
  • black
  • typical surface resistance: 105 - 106 Ohm (side with skin)
  • typical surface resistance: 107 - 108 Ohm (side without skin)
  • in compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1

The interlayers are available in predefined dimensions or as individual cuttings.
