Safety shoe Maverick black Low ESD
The Maverick black Low ESD safety shoe from Elten combines high safety standards with modern design and comfort. This low shoe made of microfiber and textile material is available in sizes 38 to 48 and is designed for both genders. The steel toe cap and metal-free penetration guard meet the S3 safety class and provide optimal protection according to the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1, EN ISO 20345 S3, and SRC.The PU/PU sole of the FUN series ensures slip resistance and is oil- and chemical-resistant as well as antistatic. A special feature is the replaceable ESD PRO black insole, which complies with the guidelines DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259, allowing the use of orthopedic insoles.
The breathable textile lining ensures a comfortable foot climate, while the light weight of 585 g at size 42 ensures comfort throughout the day. The lace-up closure allows for individual adjustment to the foot.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
