The K1 AM ESD safety sandal from HKS combines sporty elegance with high functionality, ideal for indoor use. The upper made of robust Cordura and soft microfiber, along with the breathable textile lining, ensures a comfortable wearing experience even during extended use. The sandal is completely metal-free and vegan, making it exceptionally light and versatile.
Equipped with a TPA toe cap and an additional overcap, as well as a textile penetration protection (T-Laminate), the shoe offers effective protection. The TPU rubber sole with Air-Cell cushioning ensures excellent slip resistance (SRC) and is oil, petrol resistant, and antistatic according to EN ISO 20345. Reflective applications enhance the visibility and safety of the wearer.
Available in sizes 36 to 48 and in the color combination black/yellow, the sandal also features a replaceable insole and is suitable for orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191. The practical Velcro closure and the standard width 11 ensure an optimal fit. The shoe weighs only 510 g in size 42, making the Airmotion series an excellent choice for safety and comfort.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
