The HKS BOA 2 BTP safety shoe from the K-Run series combines sporty elegance with high functionality, specifically designed for indoor use. The upper is made of durable Cordura®, complemented by a steel toe cap with an overcap for optimal protection. The innovative Boa® closure allows for quick and precise adjustment. The textile lining ensures breathability, while the TPU rubber sole with Power Grip provides secure traction even on wet surfaces. The outsole is also oil and petrol resistant as well as antistatic and meets the EN ISO 20345 standard.
Available in sizes 39 to 48 and in an attractive blue-black color design, this low shoe offers a standard width of 11 and a slip-resistant SRC classification. The insole is replaceable and can be substituted with orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191. Weighing 510 g in size 42, the shoe is comfortably light even during long wear periods. Ideal for professionals who need both comfort and safety.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
