Safety shoe BOA 8 BTP
The BOA 8 BTP safety shoe from the HKS K-Run series offers an ideal combination of safety and comfort for indoor use. This model features a lightweight and breathable Cordura® upper and a steel toe cap with an overcap that ensures robust protection. The innovative BOA® closure allows for quick and precise adjustment to the foot, while the textile lining provides additional wearing comfort.
The TPU rubber sole with Power Grip offers excellent traction on various surfaces, even when wet, and is oil- and gasoline-resistant as well as antistatic according to EN ISO 20345. The slip-resistant outsole supports safe walking even under challenging conditions. The shoe is available in sizes 39-48 and comes in an attractive black and yellow design. Other features include a replaceable insole, the option to use orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191, and a weight of 510 g in size 42. Ideal for long standing periods and walking, this S1P class half-shoe provides reliable protection and lasting comfort.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
