The HKS AirFit ESD safety shoe offers optimal protection and comfort for everyday work. This model in blue is specifically designed for women and available in sizes 36 to 42. The upper is made of breathable mesh, which, together with the Cool Mesh textile lining, ensures pleasant ventilation. The robust steel toe cap and textile penetration protection (Helium®) ensure maximum safety. The TPU rubber sole combined with the PU Power Foam midsole provides excellent cushioning and stability. Additionally, the outsole is oil and gasoline resistant as well as antistatic, in accordance with EN ISO 20345 S1PL SR FO standard. The shoe is vegan and features a replaceable insole that also allows for orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191. The weight of the shoe is 440 g in size 42. The low shoe is closed with a lacing closure, which allows for an individual fit.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1PL
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 4.5 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure) and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SR
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
