The HKS AirFit ESD safety shoe in green is specifically designed for technical and industrial applications. This low-cut shoe combines high-quality materials with advanced technology to provide optimal protection and comfort. The upper is made of breathable mesh, while the lining is crafted from Cool Mesh textile, which enhances air circulation. The insole is replaceable and meets the orthopedic requirements according to DGUV 112-191.
The shoes are equipped with a steel toe cap and a textile puncture-resistant layer (Helium®), making them exceptionally safe. The TPU rubber sole along with the PU Power Foam midsole ensure both durability and comfort. Additionally, the shoes are vegan and feature a slip-resistant (SR), oil- and petrol-resistant outsole that is also antistatic and complies with the standards EN ISO 20345 S1PL SR FO. They are available in sizes 39 to 48 and weigh 495 g in size 42. They feature a classic lace-up closure. Ideal for environments where safety and ESD protection are required.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1PL
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 4.5 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure) and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SR
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
