The Uvex ESD 1 Business blue safety shoe combines modern design with high functionality for professional use. This low shoe is characterized by its micro velour upper material and a robust steel toe cap, which provides optimal protection for the toes. The shoe features a metal-free penetration guard and meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S3 SRC, making it particularly slip-resistant.
Available in sizes 39 to 52, the shoe offers an individual fit through its lacing closure. The uvex 1 Business series guarantees not only safety but also comfort through the cushioning comfort insole, which can also be orthopedically adjusted (DGUV 112-191). The PU outsole is oil and petrol resistant, enhancing durability and versatility in various work environments.
The weight of the shoe is approximately 520 g for size 42, making it suitable for longer wearing periods. Special widths can be manufactured upon request to meet all needs. This shoe is an excellent choice for men who do not want to compromise on safety or style in their professional world.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
