The Uvex safety shoe ESD 1 G2 is a highly functional low shoe, specifically designed for professionals in demanding work environments. This model combines safety and comfort in an attractive black-blue design and is available in sizes 35 to 52. The shoes are particularly suitable for chrome allergy sufferers, as they feature a metal-free plastic toe cap and a silicone-free sole. The slip-resistant RPU outsole meets the SRC standard and offers excellent traction on various surfaces, while the oil- and gasoline-resistant properties ensure the shoe's durability. The insole is replaceable and complies with DGUV 112-191 for orthopedic adjustments, making the shoe especially suitable for wearers with specific foot needs. The practical elastic closure and the lightweight construction with a weight starting from 501 grams at size 42 maximize wearing comfort over long working hours. Thus, the Uvex safety shoe ESD 1 G2 is an optimal choice for professionals who value safety, functionality, and comfort.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
uvex xenova® system
The high-performance, completely metal-free uvex xenova® system is used to protect the foot in the safety shoe. The protective toe cap fits perfectly and guarantees special comfort when working on the knees and bumping. The flexible, penetration-resistant midsole fits exactly to the insole in its width, does not act as a cold bridge and thus promotes comfort when worn.
