Safety shoe ESD 1 Sport black
The Uvex safety shoe ESD 1 Sport in black is specifically designed for professional use and features a multitude of functional characteristics. This model combines a lightweight and breathable textile upper with an equally breathable distance mesh lining, ensuring optimal wearing comfort. The TPU toe cap and the metal-free construction make the shoe particularly suitable for those allergic to chrome.
The cushioning PU midsole along with the PU outsole provides excellent slip resistance (SRC) and makes the shoe durable and robust against wear. For additional protection, there is a plastic toe cap and flexible textile puncture resistance.
Available in sizes 35-52 and in standard width 11, the shoe also offers special widths upon request. The unisex design makes it suitable for both men and women. The low-cut shoe from the uvex 1 Sport series meets the S1P safety class and is equipped with a cushioning comfort insole and a practical lace-up closure.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
uvex xenova® system
The high-performance, completely metal-free uvex xenova® system is used to protect the foot in the safety shoe. The protective toe cap fits perfectly and guarantees special comfort when working on the knees and bumping. The flexible, penetration-resistant midsole fits exactly to the insole in its width, does not act as a cold bridge and thus promotes comfort when worn.
