The Uvex 1 x-craft safety shoe combines advanced protective features with high wearing comfort and is specifically designed for chrome allergy sufferers. This low shoe in black/blue features a perforated surface made of micro velour and textile, which, along with the mesh lining, ensures optimal air circulation and breathability. The metal-free, plastic-reinforced toe cap and the overcap provide robust protection, while the elastic laces and the practical quick-release closure allow for quick and easy donning and doffing. The PU outsole and midsole are oil and gasoline resistant as well as slip-resistant, making the shoe ideal for demanding work environments.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.

Safety class S1

Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.

Metal-free toe cap

Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.

Slip resistance SR

The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.

Overcap

The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.

Exchangeable insole

The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.

uvex xenova® system

The high-performance, completely metal-free uvex xenova® system is used to protect the foot in the safety shoe. The protective toe cap fits perfectly and guarantees special comfort when working on the knees and bumping. The flexible, penetration-resistant midsole fits exactly to the insole in its width, does not act as a cold bridge and thus promotes comfort when worn.
