The uvex 1 x-craft ESD safety shoe in black combines high safety standards with comfort and design. This low shoe is specially designed for chrome allergy sufferers and is made of a textile upper. The metal-free plastic cap and the additional overcap provide optimal protection. Thanks to the elastic laces and the practical quick-release fastener, the shoe is easy to put on and take off.
The TPU outsole provides slip resistance (SR) and is also oil and petrol resistant (FO). The PU midsole and the replaceable insole offer additional comfort. The shoe meets the standards EN ISO 20345 S1PL and DIN EN 61340-5-1 and is available in sizes 35 to 52.
The light weight of only 414 g at size 42 and the breathable mesh lining significantly increase the wearing comfort. The textile penetration protection and the standard width of 11 make the shoe an excellent choice for various work environments. This unisex model is manufactured by Uvex, ensuring high quality and durability.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1PL
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 4.5 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure) and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SR
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
uvex xenova® system
The high-performance, completely metal-free uvex xenova® system is used to protect the foot in the safety shoe. The protective toe cap fits perfectly and guarantees special comfort when working on the knees and bumping. The flexible, penetration-resistant midsole fits exactly to the insole in its width, does not act as a cold bridge and thus promotes comfort when worn.
