The Jalas EXALTER Boa® ESD 9985 RED safety boots are designed for the highest safety standards and are ideal for technical use. These unisex boots in black and red provide effective protection with an aluminum toe cap and a metal-free puncture-resistant layer. They are certified according to EN ISO 20345 S3 SRC and also meet the HRO requirements for heat resistance.
The upper is made of a durable microfiber and textile combination, while the polyester lining ensures comfort. Particularly noteworthy is the BOA® quick-release system, which allows for easy and quick donning and doffing. The non-slip rubber outsole offers excellent grip properties. The shock absorption zone made of Poron® XRD® increases wearing comfort, especially during long periods of use.
Available in sizes 34 to 47, these safety boots are suitable for both women and men. They come with a replaceable FX3 Supreme insole, which also supports orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259. Weighing 670 g in size 42, they offer an ideal balance between protection and comfort.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BOA® Fit System
The BOA® Fit System consists of three essential components: a finely adjustable twist lock, a lightweight yet extremely strong rope and low-friction rope guides. All BOA® Fit systems enable a precise fit quickly and effortlessly and come with the BOA® guarantee.
Ergothan
Ergothan, an efficient shock absorption system, makes the shoes very ergonomic and prevents injuries to the feet. A plastic clasp under the insole makes the shoes stable and provides support for long working days.
Stabilizer
Extra rigid construction with stabilizer in the arch area that reduces the risk of sprains. Available on shoes with RPU, nitrile and TPU in the outsole.
