The FIFTY-FIVE ESD safety boot by Jalas combines high safety standards with comfortable wearability. Equipped with an aluminum toe cap and a metal-free puncture-resistant layer, this boot offers optimal protection in hazardous work environments. The upper made of robust leather and the oil-resistant, antistatic RPU outsole ensure durability and safety. The shock absorption zone made from Poron® XRD® significantly increases comfort, while the replaceable FX2 Pro insole and the option to use orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259 support customized fitting to the foot. The safety class S3 according to EN ISO 20345 and additional standards such as DIN EN 61340-5-1 and BGR191 confirm the high quality and safety of the boot. Available in sizes 36 to 47 and in an attractive black-yellow design, this shoe offers a combination of functionality and style. The lace-up closure ensures a secure and individual fit, while the SRC-certified slip resistance provides additional safety on slippery surfaces. This model is being discontinued and will be replaced by the successor JA-3075.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Ergothan
Ergothan, an efficient shock absorption system, makes the shoes very ergonomic and prevents injuries to the feet. A plastic clasp under the insole makes the shoes stable and provides support for long working days.
Stabilizer
Extra rigid construction with stabilizer in the arch area that reduces the risk of sprains. Available on shoes with RPU, nitrile and TPU in the outsole.
