The Jalas 1605 E-Sport ESD safety sandal offers optimal protection and comfort for industrial work environments. This model features PU-coated leather and a convenient Velcro closure. The aluminum toe cap and metal-free puncture protection meet the safety class S1P and the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345:2011. The sandal is available in sizes 36 to 47 and comes in an attractive black-gray-red color scheme. The antistatic and oil-resistant PU outsole also provides excellent slip resistance (SRC), enhancing safety at work. The replaceable FX2 Classic insole supports orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259, ensuring wearing comfort even during long working hours. Weighing 570 g in size 42, the sandal is lightweight and allows for natural freedom of movement.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Ergothan
Ergothan, an efficient shock absorption system, makes the shoes very ergonomic and prevents injuries to the feet. A plastic clasp under the insole makes the shoes stable and provides support for long working days.
