The safety sandal ZENIT 3020 ESD from Jalas combines high safety standards with comfort and functionality for professional use. This model is equipped with an aluminum toe cap and meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345:2011 S1 SRC, making it an ideal choice for work environments that involve electrical discharges and slip hazards. The sandal features a Velcro closure for easy on and off, as well as an oil-resistant and antistatic RPU outsole. The collar is made of memory foam, which provides additional wearing comfort, while the shock absorption zone made of Poron® XRD® effectively cushions impacts. The upper material is made of robust leather, and the sandal is available in sizes 36 to 47. The color combination of black/red and the weight of 600 g in size 42 underline the practical design of the footwear. Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Ergothan
Ergothan, an efficient shock absorption system, makes the shoes very ergonomic and prevents injuries to the feet. A plastic clasp under the insole makes the shoes stable and provides support for long working days.
Stabilizer
Extra rigid construction with stabilizer in the arch area that reduces the risk of sprains. Available on shoes with RPU, nitrile and TPU in the outsole.
