The Jalas 1645 E-Sport ESD safety shoe combines functionality and comfort for demanding work environments. This low-cut shoe is equipped with an aluminum toe cap and meets the safety standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345:2011 in class S1P SRC, making it particularly suitable for electronically sensitive areas. The upper material is made of a robust leather-textile combination, and the PU outsole is oil-resistant and antistatic. The integrated shock absorption zone made of Ergothan provides increased wearing comfort, while the composite penetration protection ensures additional safety. The shoe is available in sizes 36 to 47 and presents itself in an appealing black-blue-gray color pattern. The slip-resistant SRC classification ensures optimal traction. The FX2 Classic insole is replaceable and allows the use of orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191. Weighing 525 g in size 42 and with a normal fit, the shoe offers both men and women a comfortable and safe workwear option.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Ergothan
Ergothan, an efficient shock absorption system, makes the shoes very ergonomic and prevents injuries to the feet. A plastic clasp under the insole makes the shoes stable and provides support for long working days.
