The safety shoe ZENIT EVO ESD by Jalas, a leading manufacturer in the safety shoe industry, offers an optimal combination of protection and comfort for professional applications. This low-cut shoe features a seamless textile upper and an aluminum toe cap that meets the standards EN ISO 20345:2011 S1 SRC and DIN EN 61340-5-1. It is available in sizes 35 to 48 and in the color combination Black/Red. The multi-layer Zenit EVO insole guarantees maximum ergonomics and comfort. It consists of a textile layer, a Neo Foam layer that protects the entire foot area from impacts, two EVA layers for stability and shape retention, as well as PORON® XRD™ for excellent shock absorption and a stabilization brace to improve shoe stability. The insole is also replaceable, making the shoe particularly maintenance-friendly. In addition to a lace-up closure and a standard width, the shoe also offers slip resistance SRC for additional safety in slippery conditions. Weighing 525 g in size 42 and the possibility to integrate orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259, this shoe sets new standards in quality, fit, and craftsmanship.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Ergothan
Ergothan, an efficient shock absorption system, makes the shoes very ergonomic and prevents injuries to the feet. A plastic clasp under the insole makes the shoes stable and provides support for long working days.
