The Viper 1+ S1 ESD safety shoe from Sievi combines the highest wearing comfort with comprehensive safety and is specially developed for technical procurement. This ESD-certified shoe is made of durable split leather and features a composite toe cap and a non-marking, dual-layer PU/TPU outsole. The FlexStep® intermediate layer provides excellent shock absorption, while the 3D-dry lining ensures optimal ventilation.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.

The FlexStep® outsole with micropores developed by Sievi preserves its excellent shock absorption and elasticity even in frosty conditions. The springy construction of the FlexStep® sole element protects the foot and spine from impact and excessive stress. All Sievi shoes have a FlexStep® sole.
