The professional shoe Marais Black-Blue ESD from Elten combines functionality with modern design and is specifically designed for use in ESD-protected areas. This half shoe offers high wearing comfort and optimal air circulation thanks to its mesh upper material and a breathable textile lining. The padded tongue and the full-surface ESD insole further enhance comfort, while the robust sole made of rubber, TPU, and EVA with TRANSFOAMERS technology is not only oil and chemical resistant but also features antistatic properties and excellent slip resistance (SRC).
Available in sizes 36 to 48 and in the color combination black/blue, the shoe meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20347 O1. It is suitable for both men and women and can be individually adjusted with the lacing. The insole is replaceable and meets the requirements of DGUV 112-191 for orthopedic inserts. Other features include the low weight of only 349 grams in size 42 and the additional requirements HRO and FO, which guarantee increased heat and oil resistance of the sole.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Work shoe class O1
Shoes without a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
