The safety boot IMPULSE Green Mid ESD from Elten combines high safety standards with modern design and comfort for professional use. This unisex safety shoe in sizes 36 to 47 offers reliable protection thanks to its lightweight plastic cap and metal-free penetration protection. The upper material is made of durable microfiber, complemented by a padded tongue and breathable textile lining, which increases wearing comfort. The TPU/PU sole of the BIOMEX DYNAMICS series is oil and chemical resistant as well as antistatic and offers excellent slip resistance (SRC). In addition, the replaceable, semi-orthopedic insole ESD grey allows for individual adjustment and offers orthopedic options according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259. Weighing about 550 g in size 42 and with a lacing closure, this shoe is both practical and comfortable. The safety boot meets the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1, EN ISO 20345 S1P, and SRC, Form A, making it ideal for a variety of work environments.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Reflective material
In rain, in the shade, at dusk and in the dark, people wearing dark clothing are only noticed at a distance of about 30 meters. Equipped with reflective materials, it provides additional protection through good visibility even in adverse weather and light conditions.
