The LAKERS XXT Low ESD by Elten is a sporty, lightweight safety shoe that stands out for its functionality and modern design. The upper material made of microfiber and mesh ensures breathability and comfort, while the padded tongue provides additional wearing comfort. This shoe is completely metal-free and leather-free, making it particularly suitable for sensitive work environments. The plastic toe cap and metal-free penetration resistance provide optimal protection for the foot. The PU/PU sole of the WELLMAXX series, equipped with an Infinergy® core from BASF, offers excellent cushioning properties and is also oil and chemical resistant as well as antistatic. The slip resistance meets the standard EN ISO 20345 S1P SRC, ensuring maximum safety. Available in sizes 36 to 48 and in the color combination black/red, this low shoe fits both men and women. It features a replaceable ESD PRO black insole, which is also suitable for orthopedic adjustments according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259. Weighing about 524 grams at size 42, the shoe offers a lightweight yet robust solution for occupational safety.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BASF Infinergy®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. Infinergy® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience. Infinergy® also has a permanent load-bearing capacity in a wide temperature range (-20 to over +40°C).
