Safety shoe MADDOX black-grey Low ESD
The safety shoe MADDOX black-grey Low ESD by Elten combines sporty design with high safety functionality. This model is available in sizes 35 to 48 and is characterized by its black-grey color scheme. The upper material is made from a combination of hydrophobic textile material, microfiber, and nubuck leather, making the shoe water-resistant. The padded tongue and the breathable lining provide additional wearing comfort.
The TPU/PU sole MAXXIMO, equipped with a sole core made of Infinergy® by BASF, offers optimal cushioning and is oil and chemical resistant. Moreover, the shoe is antistatic and slip-resistant (SRC). For increased safety, the steel toe cap is included, and the metal-free penetration protection makes it a safe companion according to the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S3.
The shoe is part of the WELLMAXX series and features include a replaceable insole ESD SPORTIVE black, which also meets orthopedic requirements (DGUV 112-191, ÖNORM Z 1259). Thanks to the lacing closure, the shoe can be individually adjusted, and with a weight of only 543 g at size 42, it is especially lightweight. ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Steel toe cap
Steel toe caps are somewhat heavier than other materials, but are very stable and resistant. As a rule, they can withstand a force of at least 200 joules.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BASF Infinergy®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. Infinergy® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience. Infinergy® also has a permanent load-bearing capacity in a wide temperature range (-20 to over +40°C).
Reflective material
In rain, in the shade, at dusk and in the dark, people wearing dark clothing are only noticed at a distance of about 30 meters. Equipped with reflective materials, it provides additional protection through good visibility even in adverse weather and light conditions.
