The Basic Black safety shoe by ABEBA, an ESD-compliant low shoe, combines high safety standards with comfort for the wearer. The upper material is made of robust microfiber and the lining is made of technical fabric, making the shoe particularly durable. The composite toe cap and metal-free penetration protection provide optimal protection according to the standards EN ISO 20345:2011 and DIN EN 61340-5-1. The PU/PU outsole is oil, acid, and gasoline resistant, as well as antistatic and meets the slip resistance class SRC. Available in sizes 36 to 47 and exclusively in black, the shoe weighs about 490 g in size 42. Additional features include washability at 30 °C, a practical lace-up closure, and classification in protection class S1P. Furthermore, the shoe meets additional requirements of classes CI and E, making it an indispensable component for technical professions and demanding environments.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Washability
The shoe can be machine washed (at 30°C or 60°C depending on the model).
