The ESD AER55 Impulse Blue Orange Low safety shoe by ALBATROS combines the highest safety standards with modern design and comfort. This low-cut shoe is particularly lightweight and offers optimal fit and durability thanks to the SAFETY KNIT® upper material with seamlessly applied FITFRAME® reinforcement elements. The fiberglass toe cap and flexible FAP® penetration protection guarantee high protection, while the DUAL.FOAM® midsole and IMPULSE.FOAM® technology provide excellent cushioning and rebound.
The outsole is slip-resistant (SRA), as well as oil, acid, and petrol resistant, and the footwear is completely metal-free. This ESD-capable shoe meets the standards EN ISO 20345 S1P SRC and DIN EN 61340-5-1, making it the ideal choice for various work environments. ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Slip resistance SRA
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with NaLS (sodium sulfate solution).
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
FAP®
A flexible penetration protection made of ceramic-coated fibres protects the entire surface of the feet from penetrating objects.
FAP® is a non-metallic material specially developed for safety shoes made of several layers of extremely tear-resistant textile fibers. The FAP® midsole provides greater comfort, flexibility, cold insulation, moisture absorption and shock absorption for the wearer.

3D Triple Density
The 3D Triple Density System consists of three different layers, each of which fulfills a specific function. The first layer is designed to ensure stability. The second layer is specifically designed for cushioning. It absorbs shock and reduces stress on joints and muscles. The third layer provides excellent slip resistance as well as resistance to heat and oil.
