The Hudson ESD safety boot from BAAK offers maximum protection and comfort for industrial applications. This model from the "Baak Industrial" series features breathable Flex-Mesh material and a closed sock construction, which, together with the Baak® go&relax system, a flex zone in the forefoot area, and an H-joint for optimal bending of the foot, ensure superior performance. The lightweight aluminum flex cap and the puncture-resistant, metal-free protection make the boot a safe choice for work environments requiring ESD protection (DIN EN 61340-5-1 + EN ISO 20345 S1P SRC). The boots are available in sizes 38 to 48 and feature an attractive black-blue color design. They are equipped with an elastic band for easy on and off, as well as a textile lining. The PU/PU outsole offers excellent slip resistance (SRC), and the weight starts at 501 grams for size 42. For individual orthopedic adjustments, the insoles are replaceable and comply with the standard DGUV 112-191.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
