The "ESD Safety Shoe Admiral John 'BAAK Adventure'" combines functionality and safety in a state-of-the-art design. This low shoe is available in sizes 38 to 48 and features an appealing black and yellow color combination. The upper is made of durable microfiber with TPU reinforcement, while the lining is made from a breathable textile, 65% of which is recycled material.
The safety features include a composite toe cap and a textile puncture protection made of Kevlar, meeting the standards EN ISO 20345:2011 and DIN EN 61340-5-1. The S1PS class additionally guarantees protection against electrostatic discharge. The rubber sole is equipped with a flex zone and offers excellent slip resistance (SR), as well as additional requirements such as FO (oil resistant), HRO (heat resistant), and LG (cold tolerant).
For maximum wearing comfort, the innovative Boa® closure system allows easy and precise adjustment. The insole is replaceable, and the shoe weight is only 520 g at size 42. Additionally, the shoe is suitable for orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191, making it an excellent choice for professional use.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1PS
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 3 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure) and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area and a fuel-resistant sole.
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SR
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
BOA® Fit System
The BOA® Fit System consists of three essential components: a finely adjustable twist lock, a lightweight yet extremely strong rope and low-friction rope guides. All BOA® Fit systems enable a precise fit quickly and effortlessly and come with the BOA® guarantee.
Go & Relax
Baak® go&relax is an innovative system designed primarily for people who wear safety shoes for many hours a day. It is based on three functional elements (asymmetrical toe cap, biomechanically optimized flex zone and biomechanical H-coupling element). In this way, it ensures healthy feet and relief for the entire musculoskeletal system.
