Safety shoe Hektor2
The safety shoe Hector2 by BAAK from the "Baak Industrial" series combines high safety standards with modern design and comfort. This low-cut shoe in black and gray is available in sizes 38 to 48 and features an aluminum flex cap and metal-free penetration protection, certifying it according to the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S1P SRC.
The upper material is made of microfiber and is equipped with breathable textile, making the shoe particularly breathable. The reflective PU applications increase visibility and safety. The PU/PU sole offers excellent slip resistance (SRC), and the shoe is also suitable for special needs thanks to its standard width 11 and the possibility for orthopedic insole provision (DGUV 112-191, ÖNORM Z 1259).
The "Baak Softstep" insole is replaceable, and the shoe can be individually adjusted with a lacing closure. Weighing about 475 g in size 42, the Hector2 safety shoe offers an optimal balance between protection and wearing comfort. Ideal for men who work in industrial environments and value safety and comfort.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Very lightweight shoe
The shoe is made of textile material and therefore has a low weight (size 42 less than 500 g). The low weight significantly reduces the effort and energy required from the wearer.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
