Safety shoe Henk ESD
The Henk ESD safety shoe from BAAK, part of the Baak Industrial series, combines high safety standards with comfort for professional use. The upper material made of perforated microfiber and the softly padded collar provide breathability and comfort. The aluminum toe cap and the metal-free, puncture-resistant midsole effectively protect against external impacts.
The PU/PU sole with an additional PU midsole ensures excellent slip resistance (SRC) and durability, while the antibacterial and fungicidal properties enhance the hygiene level. Orthopedic insoles can be used without any issues according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259 standards.
The shoe is available in sizes 36 to 47 in width 11 and size 48 in width 13, in the colors black and gray. ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
