The Baak Homer ESD safety shoe combines advanced safety technology with comfortable design, ideal for professional use. This ESD safety shoe is made of flexible and breathable Flex-Mesh material and features a closed sock construction for optimal comfort. The innovative Baak® go&relax system technology includes a flex zone in the forefoot area and an H-joint that allows for proper bending of the foot. The lightweight aluminum flex cap and metal-free penetration protection guarantee the highest safety standards according to EN ISO 20345:2011 S1P SRC and DIN EN 61340-5-1. Additionally, the shoe is equipped with a slip-resistant PU/PU outsole and supports orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191. The shoe, available in sizes 38-48 and in the color combination black/blue, features a practical elastic band that makes it easier to put on and take off. The Baak Softstep insole is replaceable, and the textile lining enhances comfort for the wearer. The unisex shoe from the "Baak Industrial" series offers a standard width of 11 and is characterized by its light weight starting at 501 grams in size 42.
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
Go & Relax
Baak® go&relax is an innovative system designed primarily for people who wear safety shoes for many hours a day. It is based on three functional elements (asymmetrical toe cap, biomechanically optimized flex zone and biomechanical H-coupling element). In this way, it ensures healthy feet and relief for the entire musculoskeletal system.
