Safety shoe Pepe ESD
The Pepe ESD safety shoe by BAAK is specifically designed for professional use to ensure optimal protection and comfort. This low-top shoe is characterized by its textile upper, which, together with the padded tongue, provides high wearing comfort. The shoes are equipped with a plastic toe cap and a textile penetration guard, making them particularly safe. The PU midsole and outsole offer excellent cushioning and slip resistance (SR), while the antistatic design according to EN ISO 20345 provides additional protection.
Available in sizes 38 to 48 and in the color blue, these shoes meet the safety requirements of class S1PS. They are unisex designed and have a standard width of 11. The insole is replaceable and supports the use of orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191. The lace-up closure ensures an optimal fit. Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1PS
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 3 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure) and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.

Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SR
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
