Safety shoe Ray
The ESD safety shoe Ray "BAAK Sports light" is a highly functional safety product for professional use. This low shoe combines safety with comfort and is suitable for both men and women. The upper material made of perforated cow nubuck leather and the breathable textile lining ensure optimal air circulation and wearing comfort. The composite toe cap and the textile puncture protection made from textile fibers provide excellent protection according to the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1, EN ISO 20345 S1P, and SRC.
The rubber sole features a flex zone and is slip-resistant, which increases safety under various working conditions. The insole is replaceable and supports the use of orthopedic inserts according to DGUV 112-191. ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 10^5 to 3.5 x 10^7 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
